Six easy steps

First set up your camera:-

1) Set up your camera for best quality:- Set the camera to the correct ISO, file format and white balance
2) Select the right exposure mode:- Manual, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, Program, Auto, Portrait, Landscape, Macro, Sports, Night Portrait, Night Landscape, A-AP Automatic Depth of field.
3) Set the correct metering mode:- Understand the exposure (overexposed), (Correct exposure), (Underexposure).
Set the correct metering mode:- Multi –zone, Centre-weighted, Spot.
4) Choose the Aperture and Shutter Speed:- Understand the relationship between the two i.e. wide and small apertures and shutter speed increments.

5) Set the focus and Drive modes:- Focus modes Single-servo AF, Continuous-Servo AF, Manual.
Focus Points:- Single Point AF, Dynamic Area AF
Drive Modes:- Single frame release, Continuous release mode
6) Take a few test shots:- Compare and then adjust accordingly.
