Study the picture above carefully because here is a picture that works beautifully, taken completely from opportunity. How many photographers would have used the sunlight coming into the room to light the model rather than using it for such a great effect. The rim lighting to the front of the model catches her beasts and thighs wonderfully and the back lit effect in her hair is great. As you can see there are two light sources, from behind and from the right. I like to believe this is natural lighting, maybe this was a studio set up, but wasn't it done well. Beautifully metered, certainly bracketed and nicely composed. See how the flowers follow the line of the models leg. Emulate work like this. |
